With a real estate being the only focus since exiting college, Ian spent seven years as a loan processor, loan officer, and underwriter with a hard money commercial lender in Sacramento before transitioning to residential lending in 2015. During his tenure at Provident, Ian achieved remarkable success, facilitating 1,044 residential purchases and refinance transactions in just over three years.
Growing up in Sacramento, Ian is proud to be the son of two small business owners who instilled in him the idea that good business promotes more business. He attended Jesuit High School here in Sacramento, then studied at Seattle University and later California State University Fullerton. During his high school and college years Ian played both played and coached soccer and rugby.
In his spare time, Ian loves spending time wife Kristen and their son Theodore on the banks of the Sacramento River. He is also deeply committed to giving back to his community, serving as a volunteer for the Sacramento Rugby Foundation, where he actively promotes and supports youth rugby in the greater Sacramento area. Ian views this volunteer work as a vital way to repay the community and sport that have enriched his life so much.
